VERTICAL - HORIZONTAL

THE FILTER SEPARATOR IS DESIGNED TO REMOVE CONTAMINANTS (DUST, RUST, SCALE, LUBE OIL, AND OTHER PARTICLES) FROM LIQUID-FREE NATURAL GAS STREAMS.

THE FILTER SEPARATORS ARE DESIGNED FOR HIGH GAS/LOW LIQUID FLOW OPERATIONS AND ARE TYPICALLY IMPLEMENTED UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM OF COMPRESSORS, GLYCOL DEHYDRATION UNITS AND FUEL GAS APPLICATIONS.

HEATER TREATERS

VERTICAL - HORIZONTAL

THE HEATER TREATER UTILIZES HEAT AND RETENTION TIME TO BREAK DOWN EMULSIONS IN CRUDE OIL VIA MECHANICAL SEPARATION ENHANCEMENT DEVICES, SUCH AS PLATE PACKS, BAFFLES AND ELECTROSTATIC GRIDS.

THE HEATER TREATER IS DESIGNED TO EFFICIENTLY TREAT LARGE CAPACITIES OF CRUDE OIL BY REMOVING WATER AND EMULSION FROM THE WELL STREAM, PREPARING THE TREATED OIL FOR DELIVERY.

LINE HEATERS

LINE HEATERS ARE USED WITH HIGH PRESSURE NATURAL GAS STREAMS TO COUNTERACT THE JT EFFECT WHERE A REDUCTION IN TEMPERATURE OCCURS AT THE CHOKE WHEN THE WELL STREAM PRESSURE IS RAPIDLY REDUCED TO SALES LINE PRESSURE. LINE HEATERS CAN ALSO BE USED TO HEAT GAS TRANSMISSION LINES; AND TO HEAT OIL BEFORE ENTERING A PIPELINE.

SAND SEPARATORS

THE SAND SEPARATOR IS A PRESSURE VESSEL DESIGNED TO SEPARATE AND REMOVE SAND AND OTHER SEDIMENTS FROM NATURAL GAS AND LIQUID WELLSTREAMS.

THE SAND SEPARATOR HELPS PREVENT EROSION, PLUGGING AND OTHER PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH SAND AND SEDIMENT IN WELLSTREAMS.

SEPARATORS

VERTICAL – HORIZONTAL – HIGH PRESSURE – LOW PRESSURE

TWO AND THREE PHASE SEPARATORS REMOVE AND COLLECT LIQUIDS FROM NATURAL GAS, PROVIDING FOR THE RELEASE OF GASES FROM THE ACCUMULATED HYDROCARBON LIQUID AND PROVIDE FOR THE SEPARATION OF THE WATER AND HYDROCARBONS. VERTICAL SEPARATORS ARE IDEAL WHEN THERE ARE SPACE CONSTRAINTS AT THE WELL SITE OR GATHERING STATION. HORIZONTAL SEPARATORS SHOULD BE UTILIZED WHEN LARGE AMOUNTS OF LIQUIDS ARE EXPECTED.

SLUG CATCHERS

SLUG CATCHERS ARE USED TO COLLECT LIQUIDS THAT HAVE SETTLED INTO THE FLOWLINES WHICH CAN BE OVERLOAD THE GAS/LIQUID HANDLING CAPACITY OF THE ASSOCIATED STATIONS OR PLANT.

THE SLUG CATCHER HELPS PROTECT PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT FROM ABRUPT LARGE BURSTS OF LIQUIDS ENTERING THE GAS STREAM. IT IS TYPICALLY USED DOWNSTREAM OF PIPELINE OPERATIONS WHERE LARGE VOLUMES OF LIQUID CAN COLLECT IN THE PIPELINE AND ARE PUSHED THROUGH IN A SHORT TIME.

AMINE UNITS

AMINE REMOVES CO2 AND H2S (ACID GAS OR SOUR GAS) VIA PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL REACTIONS IN THE CONTACTOR TOWER (ABSORBER). THIS PRESSURE VESSEL IS TYPICALLY THE TALLEST COMPONENT OF AN AMINE PLANT, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE RESIDENCE TIME AND CONTROL VAPOR-LIQUID FLOODING CONDITION WITHIN DESIGN GUIDELINES OF THE TOWER INTERNALS (TRAYS OR PACKING). LIQUID AMINE/WATER SOLUTION FLOWS FROM THE TOP DOWN AND NATURAL GAS FLOWS FROM THE BOTTOM UP. NATURAL GAS LEAVING THE TOP OF THE TOWER HAS REDUCED CO2 AND H2S (SWEET GAS) AND AMINE LEAVING THE BOTTOM OF THE TOWER CONTAINS CO2 AND H2S (RICH AMINE).

BTEX

THE BTEX ELIMINATOR IS A HEAT EXCHANGER CONDENSING SYSTEM USED TO CAPTURE AND RECYCLE BTEX AND VOC FROM THE REGENERATOR STILL COLUMN. CONDENSED LIQUIDS ARE COLLECTED AND TRANSFERRED TO STORAGE, WHILE THE RESIDUAL VOC VAPORS ARE SENT TO THE BURNER OR TO COMPRESSION.


BTEX ELIMINATORS ARE USED TO CAPTURE BENZENE, TOLUENE, ETHYLBENZENE AND XYLENE (BTEX) AND OTHER VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOCS) FROM THE STILL COLUMN OF TRIETHYLENE GLYCOL (TEG) REGENERATORS. THEY ALSO REDUCE OPERATING COSTS BY RECOVERING SELLABLE CONDENSATES AND USING VOC VAPORS FOR BURNER FUEL. WE OFFER TWO MAIN UNIT STYLES: AN AIR-COOLED EXCHANGER AND A SHELL-AND-TUBE EXCHANGER, WHICH COOLS THE GAS WITH GLYCOL FOR COLD-CLIMATE APPLICATIONS. THE BTEX ELIMINATOR IS AVAILABLE IN VARIOUS SIZES, COMPATIBLE WITH A WIDE RANGE OF GLYCOL REGENERATOR SIZES.

DEHYDRATION UNITS

GLYCOL DEHYDRATORS, PART OF NATURAL GAS DEHYDRATION SYSTEMS, REMOVE WATER VAPOR FROM GAS STREAMS TO PREVENT THE FORMULATION OF HYDRATES AND CORROSION IN PIPELINES.

THE GLYCOL DEHYDRATION UNIT IS A RELIABLE, EFFICIENT SYSTEM FOR REMOVING WATER FROM NATURAL GAS WELL STREAMS IN ORDER TO MEET TYPICAL PIPELINE AND PROCESS SPECIFICATIONS. MULTIPLE STAGES OF REMOVAL ARE CONTAINED ON A SINGLE SKID-MOUNTED UNIT, PROVIDING A WIDE RANGE OF OPTIONS AND FLEXIBILITY TO CONFIGURE THE SYSTEM TO SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS.

FUEL SKIDS

THE FUEL GAS SKID REMOVES CONTAMINANTS AND LIQUIDS FROM THE NATURAL GAS STREAM AND PRESSURE REGULATES IT TO PREPARE FOR USE AS FUEL AND INSTRUMENT GAS SUPPLY FOR THE OTHER EQUIPMENT.

H2S SCAVENGERS

A SCAVENGER IS A CHEMICAL COMPOUND THAT REACTS WITH H2S. IT CAN BE EITHER A LIQUID, TRADITIONALLY TRIAZINE, OR A SOLID, SUCH AS AN IRON OXIDE. DURING THE REACTION PROCESS, H2S IS CONVERTED INTO AN INNOCUOUS, NONHAZARDOUS COMPOUND WITH NO RESULTING EMISSIONS. THIS IS CLEARLY A WIN FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. THE DOWNSIDE OF THIS PROCESS IS THAT ONCE IT IS COMPLETED, THE CHEMICAL AGENTS CANNOT BE REUSED OR REGENERATED FOR FUTURE NATURAL GAS TREATMENT PROJECTS. SINCE THE SCAVENGER COMPOUNDS ARE NOT REGENERATIVE, THERE CAN BE A HIGHER COST ASSOCIATED WITH CONSTANTLY REPLACING THE USED MATERIAL.

JT UNITS

THE JT ASSEMBLY PROVIDES HYDROCARBON DEW POINT CONTROL AND INCREASED RECOVERY OF NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS (NGLS). THE JT PLANT CONSISTS OF A GAS-TO-GAS HEAT EXCHANGER WITH HOT GAS BYPASS, LIQUID-TO-GAS HEAT EXCHANGER, JT VALVE, COLD SEPARATOR, METHANOL INJECTION SYSTEM AND CONTROL SYSTEM, ALL MOUNTED ON A SINGLE SKID.

THE JOULE-THOMSON ASSEMBLY MAKES IT EASY FOR VALUABLE NGL RECOVERY AND REDUCING THE WATER AND HYDROCARBON DEW POINT OF THE PRODUCTION STREAM TO PIPELINE SPECIFICATIONS. THE SELF-CONTAINED, SKID-MOUNTED SYSTEM CAN BE QUICKLY INSTALLED AND STARTED UP, MAKING IT IDEAL FOR SHORT-TERM, SPACE-CONSTRAINED OPERATING ENVIRONMENTS.

STABILIZERS

CONDENSATE STABILIZERS REDUCE THE VAPOR PRESSURE OF PRODUCED OIL/CONDENSATE FOR TANK STORAGE AND TRANSPORT, AND INCREASE THE RECOVERABLE QUANTITY OF NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS (NGLS).

THE CONDENSATE STABILIZER UNIT IS DESIGNED TO MINIMIZE STARTUP TIME, SAFELY STABILIZE CONDENSATES BY REDUCING REID VAPOR PRESSURE (RVP), AND EFFICIENTLY CAPTURE NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS (NGLS) IN WELLSTREAMS.
